Requirements
Infants
Those parents who wish to enrol their children in the school , should first of all have an interview with the pedagogical adviser;an appointment can be booked through the school´s secretary.
In this interview you will receive a folder with general information about the school including timetables, lunch menus, pricelists and an enrollment slip which can be filled in to formalize your enrollment.
Primary
Pupils applying for a place in the Primary School must hand in the following:
1) Previous school marks.
2) Reports from previous schools.
Prospective pupils sit an entrance exam with the Educational Psychologist which will determine the level at which the pupil may be admitted. The test consists of a language and mathematics paper and a general test of maturity. The final decision on the pupil’s admittance is taken by the Head of Primary. Test results are sent to the family in writing.
New pupils without the required level of English language attend the Immersion Programme in English language and Mathematics.
New pupils who do not have the required level in Spanish follow the Spanish Immersion programme and will not be able to begin studying French as the Third Language until the first year of Secondary.
Secondary
Pupils applying for a place in the Secondary School provide their most recent school reports and results.
Students are offered a place on the basis of their school reports and results, the results of testing by the Guidance Department, their age and, in some cases, an interview. The final decision on admission is taken by the Head of Secondary.
Baccalaureate
Pupils applying for a place in the Secondary School must hand in the following:
1) Secondary 4 school marks
2) The Graduate in Secondary Education Certificate
Students are offered a place on the basis of their results from Secondary 4 (English year 11). All students wishing to enter Baccalaureate must be in possession of the Spanish Leaving Certificate, "The Graduate in Secondary Education", or be eligible to convert their previous school studies into this certificate. Information on the conversion process ("homologación) is available from the School.
A-Level
Pupils wishing to join either the first or second year or the A Level – Bachillerato programme must be in possession of 5 Grade C or above GCSE passes or the Spanish “Graduado en Educación Secundaria” certificate. Pupils from a school abroad will need to convalidate their studies. Information on how to do this is available at school.
Students are asked to provide previous school reports and asked to sit an entrance test with our Guidance Department. Admission to the school is determined by the Head of School and A Level Coordinator.
Families who require more information can make an appointment with the Educational Advisor or member of the Management team for a personal interview and tour of the school.
